My passion and love for horses. It doesn't matter how many times I fell; I'll always get up and keep on riding. That's not only a riding lesson but my life lesson.
Anya, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I started when I used to live in Mauritius for small catwalks and shoots at the age of 13 just for fun and taste my childhood dreams. Then when I left Mauritius to live in London, I had to stop due to school and other problems. Then someday in school, as most of the people in my photography class used to ask me for shoots, my teacher realised that I was talented and recommended me to start modelling and since, with the help of my parents I never stopped.
Who is your inspiration in life Anya? How do you keep inspired?
My mother, she is the everyday strength that teaches me to never give up on my dreams and plans for the future.
We all make mistakes Anya; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I never get stressed and never regret anything to be fair. It's a waste of time if it was meant to happen, what can we do ...
Anya, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
Always choose the best first which is going to bring you far in your work. And if we don't have time for the others be realistic and tell them the truth.
Please tell us, Anya, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Never really had one.
Anya, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
As I'm dyslexic no one ever listens to me, so I create my ideas for shoots sometimes, and people follow my advice.
Anya, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My last shoot. As I organised the shoot myself, and everything turned out very well which lead me to more professional shoots.
Anya, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
At my last shoot, I had the idea of doing a glitter and face painting shoot in the evening on my rooftop. The difficulties now are that the shoot was way too good that the photographer wants to make me pay for my work.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
You will always have competition, bad experiences and the meanest people around. Take those as a challenge to go further than anything that comes your way and never gives up.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Looking forward to posing for big agencies or clothes branding in the future
