Our readers would love to get to know you more Antonella. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I'm from the island/ Haiti, I speak with an accent, I able to look like the person in each photograph, I that very unique.
Antonella, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
growing up in a poor country where life was never easy for me, I fought through tears for everything , my mother raise me with four other kids , I was the youngest in my family, I open my own business selling garlic , spices at age 11 to take care my self and my nieces and nephew, I use to organize street fashion show during the summer in Haiti with the kids pretend to be Marilyn Monroe .
Who is your inspiration in life Antonella? How do you keep inspired?
Looking back where I came from and where I'm in life today. My daughter
We all make mistakes Antonella, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
During may I drove about four hours for a shoot and I spent the entire day waiting and the producer forgot about a few of us including me, I had to drive back home frustrated and upset, as texting this day is easily sent, I say thing that I wish I didn't
Antonella, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
I plan head, al always on time
Please tell us, Antonella , about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Once I had to be in two fashion shows in New York which was held the same day. I had I had to nape in my car in the Oder to avoid traffic delays
Antonella, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
One of my patient in clinical settings, I convinced my nursing supervisor that something was wrong, when she asks me to wait for 24 hours, which I didn't I call another nurse when realizing the patient really needed immediate medical attention
Antonella, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
the first time that I walk the runway in New York fashion week, I felt like a queen when someone came up stated " I know you're Antonella right?!?", offered me jobs. I felt so proud of myself for a woman from my background
Antonella, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
My last shoot in November during the snow, I was very excited because I was shooting to compete for a magazine, however, it was very cold and snow started to fall and I had to pull it together and fished the shoot
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Oh, my goddess, I can give many examples, but I'm going to keep it short. You need a thick skin because the word is rough, quitting isn't an option, give it 5000 percent, fight through your last breath.
