Anthony, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Fashion Stylist?
Understanding beauty, finding beauty and pulling beauty to the surface inspires me every day.
Who is your inspiration in life Anthony? How do you keep inspired?
The souls of all the late, great and unknown artist of the world keeps me inspired. I keep inspired by continuing to do what I love and to continue to look for inspiration
We all make mistakes Anthony; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Fashion Stylist; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I work good on pressure, its a rush it leaves no time or room to second guess myself and my work as I tend to be a perfectionist. I must remember not everyone likes the crazy intense backstage life I thrive off of. With that being said I sometimes can get a little quick-witted with those who are taking too much time or are not on task, and I tend just to take over and do their work as well as mine. We all have our process.
Anthony, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Fashion Stylist, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
If there is a deadline or show order whoever is needed on set first goes first. Other than that I try to treat everyone equally and give my all to every client
Please tell us, Anthony, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Fashion Stylist?
Producing Fashion Meets Film was a huge learning experience for me. Being in charge of so many facets of the event and so many deadlines I learned no detail is too small, and a post-it notes, as well as a huge desk calendar, is a must
Anthony, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
Almost every day in my field. We are creating art that is displayed in humans they make or break it for us. Communication and education trump persuasions anyday
Anthony, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Fashion Stylist. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
The first time I produced a fashion event. Fashion Meets Film at the Oregon Science Museum. I was used to producing photo shoots for clients, but this was a huge event you designers from all over the world. 60 models. 500 in attendance. Sponsorships. Press releases. Model casting. Designer collections. Pr. PR. Oh yeah and I closed the show in a custom gown made from a vintage fighter parachute with a 17-foot train and 5-inch heels
Anthony, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Every day I am allowed to be creative with my work. The excitement and difficulty always is whether or not my client will see my vision and trust me
