Anthonyplease tell us your talent/work rate per hour?

Anthony. Tell us ABOUT yourself.
I always felt as if I don't deserve to be where I am at today, but if it weren't for my close friends who supported me from day one, I wouldn't be here. I started to make video projects with friends in my early days of high school, and I enjoyed the process so much. I loved to call, "Action!' And to discuss with my actors on how they could do better in a scene. I also loved to edit the movies at home, hogging the computer for hours just to see the magic happen on iMovie, my first editing platform. My creative vision never really took off until my first year in college, where I was blessed with an opportunity to work part time as a wedding photographer/assistant. Fast forward another year, and my skills have jumped to another level in photography and cinematography.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Anthony. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I feel as if my age group is really into new versions of filmmaking. Things like vlogs and travelling videos with crazy editing styles and very inspiring music are the craze nowadays. Don't get me wrong, its an evolutionary process of the film, and we should all embrace it, but my heart lies within the sole basics of movie making for feature films. Most young people today love studying vloggers and content creators on youtube instead of studying excellent Hollywood or indie films. I know there are a ton of others that love to study Hollywood films and are the same age as me, but I also feel unique because of that. I love studying the core mechanics of film from directors such as Alfred Hitchcock in films like Psycho and The Birds. Movies from the old days really make you appreciate what film has evolved into.

Anthony, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Creative Director?

I started early in high school, making video projects for class, I enjoyed the process so much that it drew me out of regular subjects in school. I was still a pretty good student, but I was at my happiest when I was making films. My main goal is to direct an action and drama film. I love to write when I'm not working for my weekend weddings or my day job at a photo rental house.

Who is your inspiration in life Anthony? How do you keep inspired?

I get inspiration from a lot of people. Mainly from my older brother, as he sets an example for me since he is already well established in his field. Another is a mentor of mine who is really helping me expand my skill as a photographer, and giving me vital life tips for finances and business. I also gain inspiration from my coworkers at my day job, we are a close unit that works together and support each other, but mainly we always critique each other to help us grow.

We all make mistakes Anthony; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Creative Director ; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I am still relatively new to being a creative director, but one of my most important pieces of advice is to take care of your gear, and make sure you keep tabs on it. Gear sometimes never works when you need it the most, so keep it safe.

Anthony , when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Creative Director, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I always tell myself that if a client disagrees with me, I always have to give them what they desire, even if I disagree with it. I will try to convince them, but if they still disagree, then I must deliver what they want. After all, they pay for my services.

Please tell us, Anthony, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Creative Director?

I keep a calendar. I cannot stress how important it is to keep an agenda for all of my events. You tend to forget things as events start to pile up, and so keeping track of all of my priorities and work events helps me so much.

Anthony, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
You have to be very optimistic about your ideas and tactics. If you don't show confidence in your style, then your clients will have no confidence in you. My very first time on a real film set, was a music video shoot, I had no experience, but I had enough of an idea to know how things work. I ended up shooting on the B camera, showed confidence in my work and the DP and director loved my efforts.

Anthony, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Creative Director. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment was shooting on the secondary camera on Katja Gleason's music video for, "Come Thru." Mentioned in the previous question. As I'm saying this, the video is picture locked, and I can't wait to see the final product.

Anthony, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Being resourceful is when I am most creative. Using white poster boards as fashion shoot backdrops is an example of using creative vision to create a product that works.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Creative Director?

I'm currently not at that stage to advise on becoming successful as a creative director, but I was asked if I was really willing to step into that sort of lifestyle.
