ABOUT

My collections have a minimalist concept with white as the basic color; each collection will using some science element for the story. It's about wearing a unique minimalist fashion.

Anna, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Designer?

I started doing fashion design since I was in 3rd grade of elementary school, so I explore more my passion for the university. I want to have my show someday and hope people around the world will accept my work.

Who is your inspiration in life, Anna? How do you stay inspired as a Designer?

I inspired by Coco Chanel. I inspired by how to struggle her life is when she started it, how can she make something into a trend like a black dress until being someone the entire world know.

We all make mistakes, Anna, we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

My life during university is so empty, because of many tasks to do in class and home, I will never be a part of any activities outside the university. I regret it because I can have more friends if I do it

Anna, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?

I would say I am hard working, can accept critic and suggestion, listen to client well, creative, and diligent.

Please tell us, Anna, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

I think in the art world, we don't prioritise work because we want some times to get inspiration during our social life or friends or family and we work when our brain and body want to, or the result just gonna be worst. So I think social life is my priority.

Anna, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

So it's a sewing class, and the lecturer said to make, so I made a leather cape with spider pipe on the back. The lecture leaves the class, and I start sewing that cape. For 2 hours, my cape is done, and my friends see that. At the end of the class, I asked the lecture if I got wrong, but she asks me if I made it by myself or not because it's done in 2 hours. And without I answer, my friend answers her to confirm my work. This happens many time even if she sees me do it by myself.

Anna, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Designer.

I tried to register a fashion event in Bandung, and my collection about photosynthesis was shown on a fashion show for the first time.

Anna, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

During the product class, we're told to make an accessories collection, and because it's my first time for doing this, I design it as good as possible, open Pinterest for some inspiration, and got some idea on my paper. I designed a necklace, ring, bracelet, hairpiece with wire and marbles and what I get just nagging of the lecture because it's mainstream. So other students do. For a week, we've to re-make the design, and I found something simple but unique to my task. I inspired by kids toys plastic animals, cutting it, coloring it, and add the hoop, chain and other things and that's what the lecturer wants.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Designer?

Also, I want to get the advice because I haven't been successful
