ABOUT
Hi... I have been modelling since I was eight years old. My first campaign was for united colours of Benetton. Been modelling around the world since, with metropolitan models Paris. New York / Paris / Milan / London for the past ten years ... I just slowed down modelling and came back to Australia to create my line of jewellery. It s a line of handmade / crafted body jewellery and crystal jewellery ... I hand make everything myself from scratch. I have been modelling my line for a few editorials, collaborations with photographers and stylists and well published in few mags like Dark Beauty / Elements mag / Voltron mag / Elegant mag ... I have never studied for my jewellery making I am self-taught. I have showcased in raw exhibition Sydney. So I am not how to best describe myself, model, creator, crafter, designer... bless

Our readers would love to get to know you more Anissa. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I love fashion, but I like to believe I am to real for that world. Too awake. This superficial world is very scary to me.

Anissa, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

I love fashion and nature, and I combine them in everything I do, make or wear ... I am obsessed with Egypte and India . were a lot of my inspirations come from. I was pretty much born into modelling my mother was a model.

Who is your inspiration in life Anissa? How do you keep inspired?

Life is my inspiration people in the street, nature, fashion ... very important to travel for inspiration ...

We all make mistakes Anissa; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Back when I was modelling there was a time I was partying too much cause I was bored . and missed out on few jobs that would have been good for my carrier and my jewellery now .. not cool for my agency as well. I was young wasn't thinking so much about the future.

Anissa, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

arrive on time, don't give your opinion on what your wearing or what you look like . and what ever happens make it look good and alive ...

Please tell us Anissa, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

When I started my jewellery line , to develope the image of my brand, I had to combine my modelling to get into editorials. Offering to do editorials for free if my jewellery was used ...

Anissa, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Probably should have ... hahaha

Anissa, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want with share to everyone. What is it and why?
My Yves Rocher campaign ... it was a two h shoot seven years ago . and I am still getting paid for it every year ... they keep reusing that picture.

Anissa, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
When I started doing photoshoots with my jewellery. Especially when I am not modelling, and I combine my modelling, my jewellery and my artistic eye and sense of style I developed with modelling. Alone I am hall team . and i love the hall process... it s a bit difficult cause i have to show my creations on a different style of people . when I am creating it comes out of just me. Now i have to speak to everybody. But it s a challenge ... it's a beautiful thing.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

stay unique and don't lose yourself in this world....

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, would love a collaboration just not sure what kind . would love to use my jewellery and modelling for it. A shop or a brand I could model for and then expose. I don't know I am up for anything ... bless
