Our readers would love to get to know you more Andreas. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I enjoy the creative journey - on what sometimes feels like travelling through time, capturing moments and life in Los Angeles, the City of Angels. From the gritty streets of Compton to the heart of Chinatown to the luxurious city of Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, I explore the city every Sunday aiming to capture bittersweet memories of its people, lifestyle, environment, architecture and space.
Andreas, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
I first get to know photography from my sister, Gabriella, who won the Young Arts Award for Photography about four years ago. Looking at her shoot photographs makes me want to pick up the camera as well.
Who is your inspiration in life Andreas? How do you keep inspired?
I visit a lot of museums and galleries looking at art from paintings, sculptures, photography to installation arts. Books also help me a lot in expanding my knowledge and view towards the world.
We all make mistakes Andreas; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I wish that I would work more together and built a relationship with a couple of stylist. It's nice to have a set of the team.
Andreas , when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
I try to accommodate as much as I can. Take baby steps - one step at a time. When having problems, I always tackle one at a time, delivering the best work I can give forth.
Please tell us, Andreas, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
I had to schedule my time wisely and arrange all my hard drive inventory very tidy and neat.
Andreas, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I stick to my original vision and keep pursuing it. I had made the team to trust my vision and follow it through.
Andreas, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want with share to everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest accomplishment as a Photographer has nothing to do with the professional realm. My proudest accomplishment is that I was able to make my mother proud and happy of my passion in photography and how my photographs have continued to make her smile and feel joy.
Andreas, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I was always excited when something comes up naturally. Something that is unplanned, either it is an element, an object or a particular light that I find during my shoot and I find interesting.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?*
Keep pursuing your dream. Do not falter.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, I would like to collaborate with fashion designers to make an editorial story that relates to humanism and stories of everyday life.
