Every person is different from other in one way or more. So, what makes me unique is, I am me and no one else. Combining two passions (dance and photography) gives me a clear vision of how to direct my subjects and relate to them.
Anamika, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
My passion is dance and photography. I started as a photographer long time back(when I was 18. When I used to travel(which I still do), I loved capturing the moments, people, sceneries, with my phone, and soon I felt that I should take it as a profession and get more knowledge about photography. So, yes! This way I started as a photographer.
Who is your inspiration in life Anamika? How do you keep inspired?
My inspiration is my family. It's because of them that I know what I'm capable of. To be able to take a better picture than yesterday is what keeps me inspired.
We all make mistakes Anamika; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
If only I could take a proper class for photography before my first social event, the pictures could have come out much better. Although everyone appreciated.
Anamika, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I keep in mind to capture everyone who is present at the event, and once the first step is taken, the second becomes much easier.
Please tell us Anamika, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
Since I have just captured for 3-4 meetings. My main priority has always been the "light" arrangements, for which there was not much need for a strategy.
Anamika, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
My second event- same faces. Since they were already quite impressed because of the clicks from the previous meets, it was not difficult to persuade them to see things my way at work.
Anamika, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I was attending one event. My second most important event. Little did anyone know about my photography. But, on that same day and same place, one person approached me to shoot for her 4-year-old niece, after looking at the pictures and my zeal towards capturing the candid moments.
Anamika, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
For now, everything went smooth. Just the baby shoots were difficult, but keeping the baby busy and talking to them made my work a bit easier and the photographs perfect.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Just be you.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Collaboration as a photographer.
