I have interests not only in the business of sales but also in modelling, public speaking, and writing. I am a single mother of 3 who has a passion for happiness.
Amy, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
My passion is to inspire others to live to their highest potential. I began doing some modelling in the corporate arena as a spokesperson for sales.
Who is your inspiration in life Amy? How do you keep inspired?
I am inspired by author Brene Brown who speaks about living an authentic and vulnerable life.
We all make mistakes Amy; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I wish that I had been more courageous and accepted help from others.
Amy, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
Time is an important area of prioritisation. If a client truly needs something right away, they get immediate attention. The most important thing is to listen very carefully to what they are asking and never to make assumptions.
Please tell us, Amy, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Since modelling isn't a full-time job at the moment, I had to be strategic as to which jobs to do. That can be difficult when you want to take on all jobs.
Amy, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I have been able to convince people to allow me to hire talent when there is too much work to be done. I was able to justify additional headcount to grow the team and add more value to the company.
Amy, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment was my work with LinkedIn on their #Real Sales Campaign. https://business.linkedin.com/sales-solutions/real-face-of-sales
Amy, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
The LinkedIn campaign allowed me to be creative and truly be myself. It was exciting to influence the shots and engage with the crew.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
My advice is never to give up and be good at taking constructive feedback.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes. I am looking to do more modelling with classic clothing brands and creatives willing to take risks with newer talent.
