Would you like to complete our full Editorial interview or skip straight to uploading your photos? (12 more interview questions).
Yes

Our readers would love to get to know you more Amanda. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I was diagnosed with Vitiligo at 18. Haven't always had it. I have 11 siblings (same mom and dad) I am 23.

Amanda, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

The first time I was approached by a photographer I was at a roller skating rink in Canada. I've always been told I should get into modeling, after leaving Canada I finally reached out to a local photographer and the rest is history.

Who is your inspiration in life Amanda? How do you keep inspired?

My friends and family are my biggest inspirations.

We all make mistakes Amanda, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I wish I said no to a few photographers. I am always so eager and excited for work that I'd do just about anything for a new project. Know that no matter what if you don't want to pose a certain way or represent a certain subject you don't have to.

Amanda, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

It is important to make sure you're in a good space yourself to be able to take care of someone else's needs. I start with me, once I am ready to take on all of these different tasks/jobs I am really able to get a sense of what I can accomplish.

Please tell us, Amanda, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

Dieting. I was told I needed to drop a few cm's but I wanted to do so in a healthy manner.

Amanda, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
In the way that I posed for a shoot. I was able to take full control and make the shots that I felt good about happening.

Amanda, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment was shooting a commercial in Colombia. By far the hardest thing I have ever done, but it turned out great, it was a positive message and I loved it. I never game up even though it was repetitive and hands down the hardest thing I'd ever done.

Amanda, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Being a creative and wanting to put together your own shoot with a really cool concept is really tough but equally as exciting. Just trying to make what is happening in your mind come to life with several different others is tough yet exhilarating.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

Know what you want in this industry and stick to your path. Don't let anyone lead you to believe that there is only one way to do anything. Choose your path and stick to it, no matter how bleak it may look.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands, and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Anything

Now for the best part Amanda! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
