Alexander Massong
State / Region

I studied at a hotel management school. I worked many years as a chef. In November I will start a Management Operations Trainee program at the Zürich Airport. Next year I am going to start an actor school, the "Stage Academy of Switzerland". To prepare myself for the school I am doing jobs as a statist in advertisement and short clips. I am very good at showing emotions and deep impression. I also started to work as a model. Trying to enter the model business. I know it's hard work, but I am patient and persistent. My whole life is full of sacrifice, pain and self-destruction. This year I decided to do something with my life. To improve me. To fight my nightmares and become a better version of the bad boy-idiot I used to be.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Alexander. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

A lot of people are telling me I would be unique. Maybe because I try to enjoy life in a funny-serious way. If the people are sad, I try to make them happy with stupid jokes and dumb patter. Maybe I am unique because I try to spread happiness even I am sadly depressed deep in myself.

Alexander, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

My passion is doing sports and be creative. Doesn't matter in which way. Painting or building things. And my aspiration in life is to have enough time for that. To find the creative-life-balance and to be happy! I started because a friend of mine is a photograph. One day he looked at me and said: "I see the struggle in your eyes. Let me take a picture of your emotion." - Well, can't remember him word by word, but it was something like that.

Who is your inspiration in life Alexander? How do you keep inspired?

The inspiration in my life is my dad. He always was there when I needed him. Even he was very strict and serious. Always in the thought that is taking the responsibility of my life. The perfect requirement to have a good relationship with a rebellious teenager. As I mentioned a was a bad boy. I made so much bullshit and disappointed him in so many ways; you can't even imagine. But he always gave the unconditional love just a father can give to his son. And believe me, it was not that easy like it sounds. The consistency of his strength is pure inspiration.

We all make mistakes Alexander; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I never had such an experience working as a model. In my life, there are thousands of situations I wish had handled them differently. Once I had sex with the girlfriend of one of my colleagues. I didn't tell him. And... Well, that wasn't very polite.

Alexander , when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I could say something like: "I always do my best!". There many important things to focus on in a relationship between Model and Client.
Money, prestige, time schedule, sympathy, pressure.

Please tell us, Alexander, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

Just started as a Model and don't have such a time working as a Model. But I do know how important it is to be full of structure and to have organized direction in life.

Alexander, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I worked as an Instructor at the Hotel Management School. So it was my job to persuade the students. I am a very enthusiastic person, and enthusiastic is contagious.

Alexander, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
There not many. There no one. As I mentioned, I just started and hoped to get a chance with this Interview to get a little bit more popular and receive some jobs as a model.

Alexander, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
As I worked as a chef. Sometimes I had a few moments of sheer creation. Difficult was to keep up this creation during the daily routine.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

If you won't try, you will never know.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes. I would love to work as a fashion/watch model.

Now for the best part Alexander! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
