The fact that I am extremely passionate about my work, about fashion and Carrie Bradshaw. Also, I am a perfectionist. I don't talk about fashion, and I also promote relationships, mental wellbeing and body positivity as much as I can.
Adhisa, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Blogger?
I started as a blogger after many failures in my relationship, and after going through depression, I decided to turn my weakness into strengths. I know now that weaknesses can be worn as a crown too. My passion is to one day write a blog post where I announce " My first day at Chanelâ€.
Who is your inspiration in life Adhisa? How do you keep inspired?
Gabrielle Chanel and Carrie Bradshaw. I keep inspired by always being passionate about my work. Also, I count myself as one of my biggest inspirations too. I have learnt so much from myself, don't you see? When I tell you to name all the things you love and your inspirations, how long will it take for you to say your name?
We all make mistakes Adhisa; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Blogger; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I have never made any mistakes so far with any brand or clients. Believe it or not, all my mistakes have been of a very unprofessional nature. What can I say?
Adhisa, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Blogger, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
My numbers on Mac helps me sort out blog posts priorities. Apart from that, I make it a point not to post more than two blogs in a week. It is a two-way communication and if you are transparent, prioritising becomes easy. Both the parties need to meet halfway.
Please tell us Adhisa, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Blogger?
Strategic? My life is on social media. I am always strategic; I am on the road of establishing a brand around me, I can't always be firing strategies, I have to be real and have fun while doing it. People don't buy products; they buy stories, wishes and dreams. That's strategy right there :)
Adhisa, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I meet 100 people in a day, so maybe 20 or so do not like my work or don't see things from my perspective, and that is completely okay. I live and learn. I can't make everyone see my vision or persuade them if things don't fall through I still go ahead with my visions, because I am a one-woman show. I do my writing, styling, social media, stories everything. I only have a team of photographers who used to be my team. I handled all collaborations and clientele myself.
Adhisa, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Blogger. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
The first brand I worked with. The CEO was a woman; she was lovely, she believed in me and my style. It was that one moment of clarity and feeling over the moon. It was my biggest accomplishment because someone believed in me.
Adhisa, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Wearing a seven-inch stiletto while shooting for a bohemian fashion lifestyle brand with Indian aesthetics, stopping traffic, wearing a thigh-high slit skirt and standing in the middle of the vegetable market, hard weather, body stickers, very conceptual and damn hard to pull off with hundreds of people around and to get police protection! EXCITING!
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Blogger?
Believe in yourself and develop your sense of style. Have role models, but always aspire to inspire by being you. Keep it real and simple and learn how to be empathetic.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, I would love to. Fashion editorials that I can post on the blog so anything from fashion and lifestyle to architecture even or promoting luxury and leisure like the Fairmont and Soho story of Istanbul on my blog, so anything, I am game.
