I have my style of shooting.. being an IT professional I look into the technical aspects of photography as well. My uniqueness is my style to communicate with clients and models.
Adeel, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
My Dad gave me my first camera in 1989 when I was just nine years old; this is how my love of photography starts. I am inspired with the beauty around me. So many beautiful, happy faces and colors which gives a sense of beautiful feelings. I love to capture moments and memories.
Who is your inspiration in life Adeel? How do you keep inspired?
I consistently watch other photographer works which keep me motivated. My daily routine includes 1-2 hr of watching youtube videos of different techniques and BTS of famous photographers work.
We all make mistakes Adeel; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I covered on big fashion event, and I handed over the pics to models without consulting with show organisers who were a very bad impression. Once they pointed out this, I talked to model to make sure no one uploads any of that pic on social media until organisers do that first.
Adeel, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I never start new client project until I finished all pending client work and delivered a complete set of pics. I work pretty fast, so it is easy for me to deliver all pics before or on time.
Please tell us Adeel, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
I am excellent at time management, never face any issue related to client delivery.
Adeel, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I got great convincing power which helps me to get more client and also helps me to discuss with them in advance the way I have to shoot. Normally I get the dresses sample in advance which helps me to make my story before the shot. I did one swimwear shoot that she want indoor, I convinced her that shoot needs to be done near water (seaside or pool) and convince her that swimming without water will not create the impact she wants for her clients. She agreed, and we had an awesome day.
Adeel, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Just when I planned to start fashion/events shoots, I got the opportunity to shoot in world beauty congress event in Dubai. I was declared the best photographer in that event among 30+ photographers and get the opportunity to be the official photographer of the International beauty championship 2017 in Dubai.I consider this the moment so far in my photography career.
Adeel, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Shooting first time with strobe lights and models who never know posing was the challenge I face, and I love to work with her. I did lots of research to find the best poses and ideal lighting condition and do self-posing to get the confidence of the model, and it comes out great.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Fall in Love with your work, keep clicking and keep learning. Never afraid to try something new.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
