About: I studied Business and Management at the University of Sunderland, UK and about to go for my second degree in Fashion Design. I have been into art since I was in Primary school (elementary school), I used to go for drawing competitions for my school and also would draw in my school's art exhibition and get my drawings sold. I stopped it when I got to Secondary school (Junior high school) because my parents hated it and believed it's forbidden in our religion. I got into Fashion in my high school; I used to customise school uniforms for the students, Buy clothes and draw out how I want it to be sewn, which is what I have mastered till now and realised that is what I know how to do best.
I'm not a big thing at all, just a young guy working on achieving his dreams and trying to improve and be the best in what he does.
I specialise in
Tell us something about yourself. What you do, passion and aspiration in life?: I'm 23yrs old guy, born in Lagos, Nigeria. Moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 4years but still moving out soon to chase dreams. I am the man that's aspiring to leave a mark and impact in the world of fashion, and also innovate and change the world of fashion for good. I feel all the fashion brands now are just doing the same thing, in the same direction and not being creative and just going for the money. I don't want to be one of them, I want to bring in a unique style in, but right now I am still learning a lot so as a business graduate, I have to study the audience and at the right now give them the art they deserve.
Who is your inspiration in life? How do you keep inspired?: As a young guy from Africa, Lagos to be precise where fashion isn't really appreciated and where I have always been discredited for my works and also being forced to quit, there isn't much inspiration. Moving out from Nigeria has really helped me improve and travel about to see different people's take on fashion and sense of fashion and also understand what they need. This might not be in a fashion way, but as for a young guy that has been through a thing or another and also go through a lot to eat and survive, I get inspired by the people I see around me that are not doing as well as I do but still keep going and still have smile on their face. It inspires me to keep doing what I do best.
When you’re working with a large number of customers, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. How do you go about prioritising your customers’ needs?: One thing I learnt about Customer's needs is you can't satisfy all your customer's needs at all time. Consumer's trust is what you need, Try to earn a customer's trust through your brand by giving the best, and the ones who would stay would stay, and the ones who won't would leave.
How old do you have to be before it can be said you died of old age?: 98
