I currently specialize in studio photography, portrait photography, editorials and portrait.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Lei-yen. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I’m unique because of my look and my personality. I think i am full of passion and drive.

Lei-yen, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

My passion in life is acting. I love being able to create and also become any one with ease. Being infront of the canera is my hapoy place. I leave all my worries behind the scenes.

I actually started out getting a camera and looking into photography. As i started meeting new people and photographers i ended up being infront of the camera.

Who is your inspiration in life Lei-yen? How do you keep inspired?

My parents are my inspiration. They always wanted me to go for my dreams no matter what it was. They are so supportive.

I stay inspired because i truly love what i do. I have a passion for it.

We all make mistakes Lei-yen, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
When i had to chance to work with a huge photographer i did not want to pass up the chance. So i went to take photos feeling less than confident about myself. We did two shoots and i did not like any of the pictures at the end of the day. I wish i could have waited until i was more sure of myself.

Lei-yen ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I start with my biggest projects that way i can take time on my smaller projects.

Please tell us Lei-yen, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

I ended up on a flight without my make up bag. So i was in new york and had to re-buy most of my make up within 2hours until my shoot. I ended up making my dead line

Lei-yen, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
When i worked in retail i was always getting into a disagreement with another co-worker over how we dressed the manniquins. One day i just dressed one before she came so i could see her thoughts. She loved it! I ended up getting to do it all the time after.

Lei-yen please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment was workig with a wilhemina photographer

Lei-yen, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I did a water shoot and i was able to be the creative director as well As the model.

It was very exciting i had a blast.

What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Model?

Go for it! Don’t let anything stand in your way. Don’t make excuses, it is always work for any height and any weight.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I would love to collab with like minded creatives. Editorials, studio, outdoor, and i’m also up for anything.
