I am currently a student at Brooklyn College who is majoring in Television/Radio Broadcasting. I co-host a show for Brooklyn College and have my podcast that called ChattingwithChassidy that I record at BRIC Arts Media Center. Before attending Brooklyn College, I served in the United States Navy, where I did some freelance work. While being stationed in San Diego, California, I interviewed upcoming artist, hosted events and some modelling. Now that I am out of the military I am highly invested in working on a career as a Radio Personality who also models.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Chassidy. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer?

What I find to be unique about myself is that I have a type of confidence that you can hear in my voice without even meeting me. Then when you do meet me, you see my overall personality and that I'm very spunky, full of ideas and very creative. I believe that others can hear this confidence when I am speaking on the radio. This confidence shows others that I truly believe in myself and will invest in myself to achieve any goal.

Chassidy, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

My passion in life is a Radio Personality. I love being on the radio, being in the studio, controlling the boards and everything that has to do with communication. While I was in the Navy, I met a photographer who asked me what I want to do outside of the Navy. I told him I want to be a Radio Personality. He said why not Television because I have a look for it. I said it to him because I'm comfortable with my voice. He then asked me if I'd like to shoot with him to see how I'd be behind the camera. That's when I started modelling.

Who is your inspiration in life Chassidy? How do you stay inspired as Model?

My inspiration in life is Angie Martinez. She's the person who inspired me to become a Radio Personality. Her voice and her personality made her who she is The Voice of New York. As a model when others show me how much they appreciate my work and when photographs reach out to me to shoot with me that inspires me.

We all make mistakes Chassidy; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back?
A mistake that I made in the past was not going back to college to continue my bachelor's degree right after getting my associates. Even though this is what brought me to the Navy. When I got out I feel as though I have so much catching up to do, and that I have a late start in Television and Radio Broadcasting. Though it has given me a new outlook on life and has made me even more ambitious.

Chassidy, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients?

I work very well with clients. The vibe that we share is what truly matters to me.

Please tell us Chassidy, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

School comes first always! Freelancing with modelling and television and radio come second. I like to incorporate my social life with modelling and being around others who are interested in the entertainment business. I feel that if I keep myself around like-minded and ambitious, it will motivate me. Most of my friends are doing something similar to me, and my family is always there. As long as they're supportive I will continue to make time for them.

Chassidy, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
While I was in the military, I had to persuade my co-workers to follow the maintenance schedule that I had planned out for them. It was essential that the maintenance is done on the Gas Turbine Engines that we were working on promptly. The reason why it was hard was that all of my co-workers were men. I was the overall supervisor of 9 men, so it made it pretty difficult for them to see things my way.

Chassidy, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.
Every photo shoot I do, and every experience that I have with modelling is a proud accomplishment. Through these experiences, I get to learn from photographers, and I learn about myself through their photography as well.

Chassidy, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it?
My recent photoshoot at The Pint Shop in New York City was a time where I was able to be creative. I chose the outfits myself to make the colours of the store pop. I chose the props that I used in the photos to be playful like the ice cream tasting and the museum of ice cream cup.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?*
Invest in yourself and believe in yourself. I think that's what gets you far in life.
